Detritus is intended to be a combined strategy-turn-based/action-realtime multiplayer SciFi game. Its setting is the earth, 500 to 1000 years ahead of our time, which lies literally in wrecks - only detritus left. But some people survived the Armageddon that caused this scenario and now live between or on the astroids, which once were called our planet. They are divided in two hostile groups: ingenious technicians who strive to leave this wrecked place and genetic engineers who try to make the best with what is left to them. Both groups pursue noble goals, but there methods include warfare, exploitation of resources and oppression of different-minded.
Now you come in as a warlord of either side, struggling for your great goal or only for influence and might. Your army is a armada of spaceships, built after your own design with the newest technology your side can come up with. After you managed resources, looked for supplies and directed research you go in-fight with other warlords - remotely navigating your warships.
